The last issue I worked on before I left Travel + Leisure last year was the big annual Food Issue, look which was always my favorite. Last year, page T+L debuted an epic package called Eat Like a Local, filled with more than a hundred insider tips from around the globe. This year I was lucky enough to contribute a local pick to it: Charly’s Bakery, one of Cape Town’s quirkiest dessert spots, under the Best Desserts to Try Around the World section. Don’t miss this whole feature for some delicious dining inspiration!
