South Africa’s Hidden Gems

My piece on Botswana as one of 2016’s hot destination’s is the opening spread for Conde Nast Traveller Middle East’s big Where to Go in 2016 package. Read it here.

South Africa is a gorgeous, hospital
diverse place, but most media coverage usually goes to the usual suspects — Table Mountain, Soweto, Maboneng Precinct, Woodstock, Garden Route… Where to go if you want to coast just below the radar? The website Cheapflights reached out to “South Africa’s most influential bloggers” (though I have NO idea how I made that list, since I neglect this poor blog terribly) to find some “hidden gems.” My contributions were Mo & Rose in Robertson, Le Petit Karoo Ranch in Oudtshoorn, and the creepy-cool Owl House in Nieu-Bethesda. Read the whole list, with input from 10 South African bloggers.
